Kundalini Yoga + Sacred Living:

About Kundalini Yoga

Kundalini Yoga and Meditation is the style of yoga I practice and teach regularly. It’s been one of the most powerful technologies in my own healing and transformation journey. It’s an incredible tool for personal growth, spiritual connection, and physical, mental, and emotional health.

The aim of Kundalini Yoga is to give you an experience of your own Soul. All text and study is meaningless unless we can have a personal experience, in our own bodies, of our own soul. If we can’t let the experience of oneness, of bliss, of health sink into our cells, change won’t come. That’s why Kundalini Yoga works so well. It relies on the individual experience of each practitioner and the guiding light within their heart.

It’s known as the Yoga of Awareness. It activates intuition by combining the nervous system and the glandular systems of the body. As a result, our innate capacities for awareness, creativity and intuition are awakened in the brain.

Kundalini Yoga combines breath, mudra, eye-focus, mantra, body lock (energy locks), and postures to balance the glands of the body, strengthen the nervous system, increase lung capacity, and cleanse the blood. When the instrument of the body is tuned in this way, the result is balance in the mind, emotions, energy system, and soul.

It’s not a religion. It aims to uplift the Spirit, across denominations. Kundalini Yoga aims to awaken the dormant kundalini energy of the body and soul. This energy is essentially the energy of YOU. It’s your most natural Self. it’s the potential of your Spirit. The goal of this practice is to awaken that most essential you so that you feel at home in the world, in yourself.

This technology works quickly and goes right to the energy. It allows us to maintain a spiritual practice, stay healthy & happy, all while maintaining busy lives full of families, friends, jobs, bills, etc. It’s a householder’s yoga. The aim is not to put our heads in the clouds and use spirituality as escapism. Rather, we aim to make this finite experience on earth as connected to the Divine as we can, so that we can be happy, and so the world benefits.
