Wild Womb Summer Camp

Gitchi Gummi Femme Retreat

July 7 – 10, 2022

Camp Amnicon, Wisconsin on Lake Superior

$555 Early Bird Rate (through May 29), $606 after

Pray and play along the sacred shores of Lake Superior.

Rustic, remote but comfortable accommodations.

Nourish deeply with daily embodiment practice and ritual magic.

Remember the wild womb of earth and self, the deep feminine well.

Deep in the wild womb of the earth is an ancient pulsing current. Lay low, lean in and you’ll feel it call you home. Wrap you in primordial magic. Honey love medicine to soothe all that aches. Remembering your birthright of pleasure, joy, beauty, and belonging.

Nature needs no intermediary. You’re the mystic, priestess, human and divine. Direct communion with the elements awakens innate magic. Reminds you that you are not separate, but made of all this stardust and dirt. To it you will return. Why not dance and play in this exquisite miracle while there’s still time?

Wild Womb Summer Camp is a space for you to remember that you are held within, and you ARE the wild womb. The elements hold and nourish you. They offer themselves to you in abundance. And you contain a unique configuration of earth, sky, fire, water that will never again be repeated. So come alive as the holy, messy miracle you are.

Weaving inner and outer worlds through ritual and embodiment practices, we dissolve into the effortless, joyful dance of being human. Come as you are. Bring your whole self. Nothing to heal or become, only to be woven back into the exquisite dance of life.

Pray + Play

Taoist Tantric Arts

Daily, guided Taoist Tantric Arts practices for nurturing the wild womb. Align with the wild womb of the earth, source of all creation, destruction, creation. Nurture your own physical womb through movement, meditation, sounding, breath, pleasure practices, and more.

Practices include sexual energy cultivation, breast massage, womb healing, yoni breathing, qi gong, and much more.

Sacred Ritual

Ritual moves us beyond the conscious mind and into mythic, mystic realm. Supported by the elements (especially water and earth), we’ll co-create potent rituals together.

Rituals of release, grief, cleansing.

Rituals of longing, desire, and surrender to the great wild mystery.

Rituals to align with the magic of the season, the elements, and your own inner worlds.

Rituals invoking pleasure, joy, and bliss.

These rituals invoke the natural magic of the world. Weaving play and prayer, we make love with the universe and co-create wild beauty.

Kundalini Breath Journeys

Experience powerful breathwork journeys each morning. Weave cosmic and sexual kundalini through the chakras. Align with the elements. Nurture the womb and heart. Accessible and simple movement, visualization, and BREATH awaken natural states of pleasure, beauty, joy, and wild.

Sound healing will weave through summer camp to support full nervous system integration of the rituals and practices.

Sacred Sharing Circles

We co-create a sweet, safe space wherein we pray and play together. In sacred space, we see the divine reflected back to us in the form of another.

Through powerful but simple sharing circles and rituals, we awaken to the intricate magic that weaves the universe.

You’re invited to sharing circles (to the level of your comfort and desire). This is a space to be witnessed and loved in your fullness. To commune with other wombs/hearts on a similar journey. To be woven into authentic belonging.

The Land + Accommodations

The Land

Camp Amnicon includes 500 acres of protected wildlife areas (a Conservation Easement, meaning the land will never be destroyed).

Home to an abundant diversity of ecosystems. Trails encompassing the property provide great access to all kinds of wildlife, and many visitors enjoy bushwhacking off-trail to discover hidden streams, cedar groves, beautiful clearings, and peace in the wilderness.

Sacred Water

Steps from a 1/2-mile-long sandy beach on the South Shore of Lake Superior you can often watch sea gulls and terns, and see the evidence of eagles and plovers. Tucked back from the shorelines, you can hear the frogs sing in the alder thicket marsh, between the huge ferns and wild cabbages.

We’ll be frequently dipping in these sacred, healing waters as part of our rituals and practices.

A short walk away is the Amnicon River where you can find lush marshes full of cattails, water lilies, red-winged black birds, red-eared turtles, river otters, beavers, and more.

The Camp

After a lovely ten-minute walk through a beautiful forest, you’ll find yourself at our enchanting seasonal village. With real beds in sturdy canvas tents built up on wooden platforms, you get the unique opportunity to fall asleep listening the waves on Lake Superior, while being comfortably protected from the bugs, wind, and rain.

Platform tents can accommodate 4-5 people. You may reserve an entire tent if you’re coming with a group of friends.

You may also choose to bring your own camping equipment for extra privacy and sleeping closer to mother earth.

Meals

All meals are provided in the dining hall about a 10/15 minute walk from camp.

They are lovingly made with fresh ingredients and include a variety of delicious and soul-filling options.

Most dietary restrictions can be accomodated. Please note your dietary needs upon registration.

You may also bring your own tea and snacks to keep near camp.

Yin Sensuality

During our Wild Womb Summer Camp, the sun will be in Cancer, the moon will be in Scorpio. Both water signs, Cancer and Scorpio call us into the depths of feeling. It’s a time of release, cleansing, and surrender to the great mystery.

Water is one element of the yin. We’ll be weaving magic with Gitchi Gummi, listening to her deep wisdom and receiving her medicine. We’ll create water rituals to bless the waters within us, and without. We recognize that all water is sacred. That honoring the water of the earth is the same as honoring the water within our bodies.

We’ll especially be exploring how watery, yin pleasure can deeply nourish our bodies, minds, spirits. Ritual and practices weave together to awaken new sources of yin pleasure within the body. Pleasure that fills, overflows, nourishes all the many rivers that make up your life. Yin sensuality can awaken deep and profound states of orgasmic ecstasy. States that do not rise and fall, but sustained states of joy and love.

FAQ

What is the cancellation policy?

Refunds will be given before June 5th, less a $100 administrative fee. No refunds given after June 5th unless we are able to fill your spot.

Emergency exceptions will be considered on a case by case basis.

If the event is cancelled by Nicole, full refunds will be given.

What level of physical fitness is required to attend?

All bodies are welcome! Due to the remote location and rustic accommodations, it’s recommended you’re easily able to participate in a moderate hike for 20 minutes. Many modifications for embodiment practices will be given.

Will there be nudity and sexuality practices?

All practices and activites are always optional. Nicole approaches sexuality from a trauma-conscious lens. You will be consistently encouraged to participate at your comfort level. Many modifications will be given.

We will not be doing full self pleasuring or yoni egg practices, but we will do breast massage, yoni breathing, and other similar exercises. These can all be done fully clothed, or nude, whichever your preference.

Warm weather permitting, there will likely be nudity. You are absolutely not required to be naked! And we welcome you if you are 🙂

What is the Covid policy?

There are no Covid requirements at this time. If Minnesota/Wisconsin are experiencing a spike in cases at the time of the event, we will require a negative Covid test to attend.

Please be responsible, respectful, and considerate of your fellow attendees. We ask that you take personal responsiblity in choosing to attend based on your respective community’s vulnerabilities and needs.

What will I need to bring?

A detailed packing list will be given upon registration, as our time draws closer.

Where is the camp and how do I get there?

Camp Amnicon is about a 3 hour drive north from Minneapolis/St Paul. If you’re coming from far away, it’s recommended to fly into MSP airport and rent a car. Exact locatoin and driving directions given upon registration.

I'm queer, will I be welcome at this event?

Absolutely! You are so welcome here. I want to say that queer sexuality is not my specialty, but I’m committed to learning how to make this a safer space for folks who identify as queer. We’ll be working directly with the womb, yoni, and breasts. If you have those body parts, this space is for you.
