The great pause is at our doorstep, the Winter Solstice is here. The night stands still in its deepest darkness for three days before climbing towards the light again, slowly. Three days, we get to drink at the deep well. Three days, we turn inward and listen. Three days, we sip that black sweetness of dreaming, of soul nourishment, of quiet medicine.
According to the Taoists, this is a yin time of year. Yin is feminine, dark, mysterious, intuitive, inward. Yin/feminine energy builds slow like honey. It works its way in from the outside. The masculine yang is a fire lit from within, burning outward into the world, shining bright. But yin moves down and in, to the root of a thing. Into the depths, into the womb of the world.
Yin is slow to build. It starts in small waves, thawing frozen tundra with warm breath, attention, love. And it builds. Turning ice to droplets that roll down the skin. Curling its way into the center of the body. Eventually awakening the oceanic qualities of yin. A sea of honeyed sweet undulating currents that rise and fall and pulse with that infinite mystery. From which all life springs forth. This is the feminine.
I’ve been more and more and more drawn to this deep sweet dark, this mystery over the years. And it is time for me to dive straight in.
Starting at the end of January 2019, I’ll be taking a four month sabbatical from teaching in Minnesota. During that time, I’ll be traveling continuously to Costa Rica, Guatemala and Bali to dive into some very deep studies of Taoist tantra, jade egg, neo tantra, sacred sexuality, and other feminine arts.
I will be teaching my Nectar of the Goddess Retreat in February in Costa Rica, as well as seeing clients virtually in my Sensual Alchemista program through March. During April, May, and early June, I will not be teaching or seeing clients at all as I’ll be in an immersive, intensive Taoist Feminine Arts training.
All my regular Kundalini classes will be taught by incredible subs. You will be in good hands, I promise. The plan is to resume teaching and seeing clients when I return in June.
It is time for me to pause. I’ve been teaching and doing private client work for nearly ten years. It is time for me to drop my bucket into the well, to bring my healing, awakening, embodiment, transformation, joy to the next level. First, for myself. I am madly in love with life. Madly. And this journey has been seducing me for years. Secondly, for you, my dear beloved community. It is time for me to do the work so that I can show up whole, in service, in gratitude for you.
I will return to you with so so so SO many treasures and gems overflowing. That’s the only way I want to show up for you: embodied, doing the work, with a full cup, ready to give from the overflow. My vision is long range. If I’m to continue to expand, offer deeper experiences, greater transformation, more beauty to YOU, I have to fill my well.

3) Join me for the Ten Yogic Bodies Immersion to ring in 2019!
