Have you ever invited God into bed with you? G.O.D. as the Generating, Organizing, Destroying forces of the Universe, aka Spirit. Have you ever invited the sacred into bed with you? Have you ever seduced the divine down into the temple of your flesh? Felt heaven and earth make wild love inside you?

Beloved, it’s possible. Not only that, it’s a necessary revolution.

For too long, we’ve been hypnotized into believing the body, our desires, s*x is unholy. Worse, we’ve been conditioned to believe it’s shameful, sinful, and wrong. This belief starves us of the deep sources of soul, beauty, and divine love. We’re severed at the roots. This legacy swirls deep in our DNA, carried through the blood and wombs of our mothers and grandmothers. Passed to us in heavy, silent pain.

We’re the lucky ones who get to reclaim heaven and earth in our bodies. We’re the ones with support and freedom enough to untangle the threads and reweave a new legacy, embodied ecstasy.

Inviting the sacred into bed calls that heavenly light down and in to these vessels of flesh. It makes us living angels, pouring soulful love into every word we speak and action we take. It spins the threads back together, re-membering us back into original, ancient sources of beauty.

Inviting the sacred into bed is the most delicious of revolutions. It unites the most powerful force on earth, sexuality, with the infinite light of God/dess. From here, we weave new realities.

The key ingredient is the breath. Breath is the bridge between spirit and matter. It is the delicate thread that can travel between worlds. So human and so divine.

Try it:

  1. Invite God/the sacred/Goddess/whatever into your bed. Do this aloud, in a whisper, silently, as a song, or in movement. Let it be intimate. Speak to this being as a lover. Sweet, spicy, loving or lustful…let it feel authentic. Intimate.
  2. Begin to caress your skin, your hair, your body. Tracing the lines you wish this lover to flow. Show the divine the pathways into your flesh, into your desire, into your sex. Go as slow as you wish. If it’s a new lover, best to get to know them slowly 😉
  3. Breathe. Breathe into the spaces of longing between you and your lover. Breathe into the places where your hands are touching your skin. Breathe into the numbness, pain, pleasure, ecstasy that’s there. Make a bridge with your breath. Feel how your breath can travel from body to spirit and back again, weaving a web of love.

In Embodied Ecstasy, we weave this bridge between body and soul, between spirit and matter. We unravel the inherited pain and heaviness our ancestors did not have the support to liberate. We reclaim our birthright of sacred embodiment, of holy union.
